For this is the story of The Naked Monkey, a Carmel-based waxing spa started by Brenda Schultz and Jeniffer Webber with $1,000, three credit cards, no business plan and the motto "We'll upgrade later."

There’s no business like monkey business….especially when it’s the Naked Monkey business! The wildly popular waxing spa that opened in Carmel three years ago is enjoying tremendous success, and now a new monkey is swinging into Fishers-- opening its doors in mid June at 8355 East 116th Street (near McAllister's). Apparently, people don’t want to give up a good waxing....even in a sluggish economy!
